Wonderful tour along the Danube!
Danube Bike Path 8 Nights (Upscale Lodging)
It was a really great trip. We (two couples) did a self-guided trip. The welcome/bike set-up meeting was very helpful and on time. The e-bike rentals were great. And the routing and App provided were terrific. Less wonderful: we did have trouble reaching the local vendor for a bike repair issue - surprisingly the person with the "WhatsApp" number had taken off with that phone that day. Caused a lot of confusion. Also, one of our hotels (Linz) provided awful service in terms of non-functioning Air Conditioning in both rooms. For hours they told us that this was as cool as the rooms get (approx 27 degrees Celcius). Finally, the manager agreed to let us try rooms on a lower floor, which were a very comfortable 21 degrees.

Outstanding Bike Tour in Croatia
Split to Dubrovnik: The Islands and Coastline of Croatia
This was an outstanding bike trip to Croatia and its coastal islands. It was well-organized from the beginning to the end, and communication was friendly and thorough. The locations were as beautiful as the photos, and the GPS app was super helpful.

What an incredible and fun way to see Lyon!
Lyon E-Bike Tour with Food & Wine Tasting
What an incredible and fun way to see Lyon! The e-bikes made conquering Fourvière Hill an absolute breeze, leaving plenty of energy to fully enjoy the dazzling light and video displays inside the unique Tunnel de la Croix-Rousse. Capping it all off with the delicious, authentic food tasting was the perfect finale to a truly adventurous and diverse day of sightseeing.

A river bike ride
Mosel Bike Path: Dreamy Mosel Valley from Trier to Koblenz
Great place for a bike ride along a river and through wine country. Visiting towns along the way a nice bonus. Not much of altitude gain was also a plus.

Great beautiful route
Three Lakes Tour: From Geneva to Annecy
Great way to see the French country side (9/-0) Riding was not difficult. E-bikes were good. My battery did not hold a charge for the entire day (7-8 hours of riding ). Would have been nice to have an extra battery. The staff did not fit my wife’ for her bike properly at the outset (the seat could not be lowered). The GPS guidance was confusing at times - they need to have a better app. Hotels were 7/10 (pleasant but not great - although they were A+ - Annecy was nice) I would recommend staying an extra day in Annecy at the end (beautiful town). I give the trip overall an 8/10.

Amsterdam City E-Bike Tour
Gliding through the peaceful paths of Vondelpark was a wonderful, scenic break from the city bustle, with beautiful trees and lots of birdsong. The history of the park's sinking ground levels was also a fascinating fact to learn!

Part of a European transit cycle
Innsbruck to Salzburg: Through the Alps Along River Cycle Trails
The paper guides were difficult to read - we used a Garmin which made it much easier otherwise you were constantly stopping to check turnings- suggest you don’t use survey maps but custom bike maps. Hotel selection was ok but some rooms were noisy and windows facing busy roads. Worst hotels were Innsbruck and Salzburg which spoiled the trip experience.Trish

Best of Portugal
Algarve Coastal Route
This was a very good tour of the southern Portugal coastal towns. The scenery is amazing and some of the towns like Tavira are beautiful and perfect for their restaurants and artistry. The ride does fluctuate from paved roads to dirt roads with boardwalks providing very nice scenery on day 3 and 4.

This slow way of travelling is perfect for savouring Provence on all levels…
Captain Willy and crew were extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. Our bike tour guide Michela was very safety conscious as well as informative and inclusive, all done with her Italian humour! The schedule was packed but never rushed. It helped that our group was cohesive and respectful of each other…and punctual! The food was excellent and our bow berth beyond expectations.

An Adventure
Algarve Coastal Route
This is our 4th ride with this company and the Portugal ride had the most challenges but also was adventurous. The Garmin that they gave us to use was not very good. We also uploaded a Bike App but this was not always dependable as well. Each day was an adventure to find the next location. We did tap into our Google GPS (bike option) as well. We were never worried we would not make it. The hotels they put us in where first class. Each had a swimming pool, balcony views, centrally located and great breakfast buffets to start our day. Our last day we had trouble with one of our batteries on the electric bike. It did not charge properly (even though we had it plugged in all night). When we started we only had 4 our of 5 bars and within 15 minutes it went down to 3 bars. It was our shortest day ride (29 miles) so we didn't pack our charger cord (which we did not require on any of the longer days). We made it within 7 miles of the finish line when the battery went completely dead. It was a very windy and hilly day so we had to call the local tour team to pick us up. They were great to work with and very supportive of our success. The driver even drove us to the finish line so we could see the lighthouse. They took a 6 day ride down to 4 days for us to accommodate our travel schedule. The overall experience was good but the directional devices took my rating from a 5 star to 4 star.

Trip was outstanding!
Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
Every day we were treated to a delicious menu from Breakfast to Dinner and dessert. High Tea every afternoon with treats like Black Forest Cake and Cheesecake after spending a day exploring ancient towns and castles by bike. Our cruise director Reinhold saved the day, and gave us a daily run down on options for tours in larger cities. Staff overall was wonderful and attentive. Bike pathways are lovely along the river, highly recommend this trip!. Plus, the Swiss Crown is in great shape, very comfortable.

It was a wonderful trip
Danube Bike Path 8 Nights (Upscale Lodging)
I thought Bike Tours did an excellent job for us. The rental bikes were like brand new. My wife and I rented e-bikes and our son rented a regular bike. After the first day our son wanted to upgrade to a performance bike. Bike tours met us at our first destination and swapped it out for an up charge which was agreed upon earlier that day.
We opted for the upscale lodging and I feel it was well worth it. All rooms except for one were larger than I expected by European standards. All lodging included a gourmet breakfast that you do not find in America. The fresh breads were amazing.
The bike paths through Germany and especially Austria our beautiful and well maintained. It's hard to explain your feelings as you ride through mid-evil villages, explore Castles, Monasteries, and Cathedrals that go back to the Roman empire.
The Capstone of our trip was to watch the Lipizzan Stallions perform at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna.
The planning, communication, self guided app provided by Bike Tours was excellent. It would notify you if you left the route and reroute you if you needed it.
We had a wonderful trip.

Fabulous and exceeded expectations
Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
From the moment we arrived on board I felt welcomed. The entire staff went out of their way to answer questions, offer help and with a smile. The captain took his job very serious, but also had a sense of humor. Our director, Leslie, kept us laughing as he presented valuable information on the boat, bike routes, city tours, etc. The actives on board like 70 & 80's music night and karaoke night were so much fun. I have not danced and laughed so much in years. I will be going again and have already told many friends they need to book this trip!

Fabulous Bike and Barge trip
Venice to Mantova by Bike and Boat (and reverse)
This was my first experience with a bike and barge trip. The tour operator did a first class job. The crew were very professional. The food was delicious. Our guides were very knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited. They kept us safe in areas where the terrain was challenging or where there was a bit of traffic. The cycling was as described as level 1. The experiences along the way were educational and highlighted the Italian culture. Overall a wonderful experience!

We had an amazing trip on the Swiss Crown. The food was above and beyond! All the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The bikes were in great shape and checked daily. Everything was clean and organized. The wifi was unreliable and app provided for navigation didn’t always work for us. I was happy to have preloaded the routes on my Naviki app. We had purchased an e-sim which worked well. Having said that we would do it again, and probably will book a different trip with this company. They were awesome
