Bilbao Central E-Bike Tour
The bike tour was sensationally put together, no sightseeing of the usual tourist points, but insider information. Our local guide was not only funny and competent, but also imparted his knowledge with acting talent. Wonderful. Thank you very much for three great hours.

Santa Monica & Venice Beach Bike Tour
This is a bicycle tour perfect for families, friends or solo travelers. The coast is stunning. The ride is pretty flat so unless you want to splurge don't get an ebike.

Excellent family trip!
Greenways of Girona Family Tour 5 Nights
This was a perfect trip for our family--2 adults and a 10 year old. Distances and terrain was manageable, lots to see and do, and very nice accommodations (especially the ones with pools as it was very hot!). We especially loved the beach day in St. Feliu.
Two suggestions: One of the hotels did not start breakfast until 9am (Can de Garay). With the temperatures near 40C that day, we really would have liked to start earlier that day to ride more when it was less hot. Perhaps another hotel would be better in summer. Also, some additional details of how to get from the train station in Girona to the hotel in Olot would have been helpful.

Perfect for families
Greenways of Girona Family Tour 5 Nights
Our route was great and easy to run, Vias Verdes are very pleasant. Hotels were good, but we loved Can Garay e Can Dionís. Our family will never forget this trip!

The hotel was fantastic - the super friendly staff, the amenities, the food was amazing.
The bike centre is next door to the hotel, was so easy to pick up and return. Good quality bikes. The information (printed and in the app) was excellent. Do this trip - you won't regret it
Bicycle Paths of the Dolomites (based in one hotel)
Loved the hotel and the area. The hotel, the food, the spa - was a highlight. The bike tour group ( manages the bikes and the routes, the shuttles ) is separate from the hotel. The hotel helps with info and also does different guided bike tours ( their bike tours looked more rugged and guided hikes. We took a day off from the planned rides and did a hike - and a bus ride - it was so worth it. Heads up - Make sure you read all the forms and plans from the Biking company. There are the 5 days of rides planned. Two days you are on your own - out and back. One day, the bike company will shuttle you to the start ( the highest point). The other days, they could pick you up at the end of the ride -or you could train in. They decide which day is which and it could change. This was not my first organized bike vacation. I loved being at one hotel, their dinner plan. We got to know the area, the buses, trains to have options. E bikes also made this much easier.

One of the best!
Bicycle Paths of the Dolomites (based in one hotel)
This was our 10th bike trip with Biketours and our group of 6 had a wonderful time. Basing in a single hotel was unique and worked well with no packing/unpacking. The routes and the app from Fun Active, the local provider were great. Scenery was spectacular. Would highly recommend Hotel Lauris with its included excellent spa (great after a day of biking) and their included nightly 7 course dinners (maybe too much food??). Taylor, from Bike Tours, was very responsive and helpful, as usual.

Stunningly Beautiful
Bicycle Paths of the Dolomites (based in one hotel)
This was my third trip with Bike Tours and it did not disappoint! The setting at Hotel Laurin in Toblach, Italy was stunningly beautiful! Every ride surrounded you with mountain views. Most of the paths were paved and well marked. There were only a few moments of confusion regarding the path to take. Hotel Laurin was very accommodating and served excellent gourmet meals every night and a hearty breakfast in the morning. At the hotel, there were several saunas and a steam room as well as an outdoor pool that awaited you at the end of your ride. The only concern I had was the initial confusion around the maps and rides that were self-guided as well as how these particular e-bikes operated (the e-bikes were great once you figured out the mechanics of them). An orientation by the rental bike company, Fun Active Tours, that provided the maps and bikes, would have been most helpful; and, I was not the only guest who thought an orientation would be helpful. I also had a problem with my attempt to rent a helmet from Fun Active Tours that responded in a less than accommodating way. However, Bike Tours considered my situation and responded most helpfully. In all, it was a fabulous trip which I would highly recommend! Elaine Kubicki

Bicycle Paths of the Dolomites (based in one hotel)
This was a great trip for our family of four to explore a beautiful area. The hotel was very comfortable and the included food was excellent. The local tour company was very helpful, although it was a little confusing to follow their paperwork so make sure to meet with them directly before you starts to confirm routes and days for transfers. It would also be helpful to check with the bike company to see if there are any route closures or events that may interfere with your trip. We had a large bike race which closed one of our trails one day which we didn’t know about and had to ride on the road and another day had a partial path closure of unknown reason. This could hav easily been avoided if the bike company had shared this information. The bikes were great but you may have to be proactive/assertive to determine details of route changes. All in all we really enjoyed our trip.

Beautiful scenery with challenging, yet manageable routes through amazing scenery. We cycled with our two teenage daughters (14, 16) who loved every minute of it. Being based in one hotel was very nice, and each day proved to be an entirely different experience. We were grateful to have this beautiful opportunity

Outstanding Tour Operator, Lovely trip in the Netherlands
Cycling the Dutch Countryside from Zaandam to Kampen
We have been on around 8 bike trips and speaking from experience, Tulip Cycling is top notch/one of the best, if not the best. Peter provided all that was needed for an excellent adventure. Peter was friendly, positive, and he was meticulous in ensuring that the cyclists have a positive experience. He takes care of each group of cyclists, on an individual basis, so that each group gets the attention that they need to operate the Garmin device.
Positives:
* GPS/Garmin navigation, so you can simply rely on the Garmin to direct you. This is very useful, since there are so many opportunities to turn the wrong way in the Netherlands. Using a Garmin made a huge difference.* Detailed maps in case you get lost (we didn't).
* Ability to contact tour operator any time. Individualized service, including an interview at the end of the trip.
* Bikes were excellent, well maintained, locks worked well, breakdown assistance was available.
* We got really bad colds/bronchitis on day 3 of the trip, and we couldn't bike for the rest of the trip. But the trip wasn't over--we took buses and trains to get to each hotel, which worked out well. Peter brought our bikes to each hotel, in case we might want to use them. Incredible extra service!
* Hotels were excellent, and they were at or near the town centers. This is an important point--many other tour operators book top notch hotels outside of town. Being at the center of town, you can easily explore the town and select a suitable place for dinner. Also, most of the hotels had charm/grandeur and many were high end establishments. They were each unique and were not mainstream establishments.
* This tour is excellent. The tour takes you to small charming villages/cities in the Netherlands, heading north of Amsterdam. This is an excellent tour if you want to avoid large cities and traffic. The charming towns and villages were each unique and there was much to see and explore. A lovely trip, we would highly recommend this tour. The route was flat and landscapes were nice. The route was designed well to avoid traffic.

Really great trip
Wine & Bike in Hungary’s Balaton Uplands
We loved Hungary, it is a beautiful part of the world and riding through the countryside and winelands was just the break we needed. The bike tour organisation was great (we went self guided), the bikes were very well maintained and our hotels were perfect. What I enjoyed most was the food - we elected to go with the package inclusive of dinner. I would highly recommend this tour!

`A relaxing week exploring good food great wine in good company
Wine & Bike in Hungary’s Balaton Uplands
Gabor and his team plan and run this trip very well with a great eye for the detail and a passion for the region and region's wine.
The cycling is generally on dedicated cycle tracks and the route has been well planned which helped us enjoy the views , good food, some interesting sights and the vineyards
A mixed age group of 11 cyclists were all happy with the variety of the route and the pace was fine for all.
Every day had different highlights of views , places to see and comfortable smaller hotels to stay together with around 30k of cycling.
Equipment was excellent ( we chose electric bikes which were almost brand new and light in design and easy to use).
Transfers to and from Budapest well organised and Gabor and team very knowledgeable to answer questions both on the balaton area where the cycling is and also ideas for onward travel and other areas in hungary.- What was the date of your tour?

WONDER-FUL trip!
Rhine Bike Path: Mainz to Cologne
Despite chilly temperatures and rain we thoroughly enjoyed our Rhine River self guided tour. The hotels were comfortable, the breakfasts were top-notch and the route took us through so much beautiful scenery.

Great Trip down the Rhine
Rhine Bike Path: Mainz to Cologne
We had a fantastic first bike tour. The hotels in general were well appointed. One hotel had staff that did not know any English which made communication a challenge but we managed. The castles were amazing. The routes are well laid out and easy to follow even if you do no know German.

Greatest family vacation!
Rhine Bike Path: Mainz to Cologne
Rhine biking is perfect combo of castles, beauty, history, food, beer/wine, and fun! Great exercise, not strenuous biking. Four college-age kids and three parents--something for all everyday. We will be back for another trip!
