    An excellently orchestrated ride!

Bruges to Dutch Border Bike Tour

We loved the well planned routes! Our guides, Alice and Thomas, were top notch professionals — informative and entertaining. The crew…Sabrina, Kevin and cook Joost were also top notch. No detail was missed.

The cabins suited our needs beautifully. As campers we are accustomed to a smaller footprint. The under-bed storage for luggage and above the bed cabinets for clothing were an unexpected plus.

Looking forward to another trip on the Iris!!!

One of our best tours ever!

Biking Through the Heel of Italy from Puglia to Salento

We have taken 11 bike tours over the years and we believe that this may have been the best so far.

The bikes were great, the navigation was spot on, the support was excellent, and the trip was well thought out.

All of the inns and hotels were clean and perfectly located, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. They all had easily accessible places to store and charge the e-bikes. The breakfasts were well stocked and enjoyable. One inn had dinner included and it was top notch.

The rides were all very well planned out and took us through olive groves, vineyards, farms, and some of the most beautiful coastal views we have ever seen. Routes were mostly on very quiet roads or bike paths. Getting in and out of some of the bigger towns required riding on city streets but that was expected and did not last long.

The trip included a few excursions that were also very enjoyable. Wine tasting, olive oil tasting, city tour, and even a boat cruise.

Every night we ate at one of the suggested restaurants, and they were all wonderful--away from the crowded touristy spots, but still nearby.

We arrived for Day One of our tour on a Sunday, so it worked out that we passed through some of the smaller towns on the weekend when everything was open even in pre-season (our trip was in April).

We also made some extra stops and detours along the way to enjoy more sites and scenery. Be sure to read the points of interest in the materials provided, take it slow, and enjoy the journey.

    Beautiful scenery, well-supported trip

Portugal's Coastal Splendor from Porto to Lisbon

Our local agency provided the best customer service I’ve had in three European bike trips. They gave great sightseeing and restaurant recommendations, communicated daily and solved problems quickly. We were self-guided, but they rode with us out of town in our first day, to make sure we got on the right route. The hotels were terrific, route was beautiful,
the Portuguese people were charming and welcoming.

    Great route and support!

Granada, White Villages and Costa del Sol

Even though I was on a self-guided tour (and solo), I always felt fully supported by Jorge and the team. Would highly recommend!

    Easy and scenic

    Lake Constance Bicycle Path

gREAT trip, excellent accommodation but to improve accommodation we would recommend having tea/coffee making facilities in every room and preferably a small fridge that guests can keep cool drinks in. Especially important at end of a day if guests arrive hot, tired or thirsty

    Amazing way to see Crete

Aegean Discovery: Cycling through Eastern Crete

Overall this is an amazing way to see an amazing island. The hotels were all nice with good breakfasts, and all of the planning and logistics went quite smoothly. The tour company was quite responsive and helpful when issues arose. Definitely get an E-bike though, there are tons of hills on Crete! The days were all quite manageable with an E-bike. The route went through a nice mix of villages, countryside and along the Ocean. The route is entirely on roads (no bike paths), some of which were a bit busy at times. There are a few touristy things to see along the way each day as well which was nice.

Spring in Spain is breathtaking. Filled with wildflowers and glowing green.

Albarracín to Valencia Along Spain's Longest Greenway

Starting with the ancient beauty of Albarracin, through the pine forests, red rock cliffs, orchards, and rolling hills, the scenery was often spectacular. And at each latitude a different array of wildflowers. There was some construction on the trail that created a challenge but seems that is part of biking. The issues we encountered on the route could have been better addressed with clear communication. We spent an extra day in both Valencia and Alberracin. I would suggest a day break halfway through the trip also. Segorbe would be a good choice. A little R&R after the 40 mile day. Breakfasts and hotels were great. The bikes, we had ebikes, were a little beat up. Had some trouble with the chain slipping on one bike, the battery didn't last the full 40 miles on the other and the pedals were locking up on the last day. A chain cleaning cloth and some lubricant would be helpful in the tool bag. All in all an adventure with far more moments of awe than hassle.

    Dreams really do come true....

Tulip Tour - Bike & Boat Holland's Famous Tulip Fields

the perfect way to experience Holland's beauty, history and charms. Our guides were knowledgeable , experienced , entertaining and ( in the case of our trip) resourceful in case of the unexpected. The barge staff were equally amazing. Interesting and fun bike ride!

Tuscany and Umbria: Cycling in the Heart of Italy

The trip was well organized. Great communication with Bike Tours during the planning, and the local bike company was exceptional. We used e-bikes, which made the trip very enjoyable.
There was some road traffic getting in/out of cities, but within a mile we were on country roads or trails. The bikes were great, with plenty of range to use additional assist for the long uphills. The variety of lodgings was interesting (old and modern), and the GPS for the self-guided tour worked perfectly. Highly recommend!
