Best trip ever!
Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
I loved everything about our bike and boat tour down the Danube. The e-bikes were high quality and well-maintained and the ship and the pampering they gave us after our days biking was fabulous. Everything on board was perfect. We loved our waiter, Ayup, and our cruise director, Leslie. And the biking—it was so incredible. The entire trip exceeded our wildest expectations. We are already planning our next one!

Wonderful way to experience Italy
Venice to Mantova by Bike and Boat (and reverse)
This was our second boat and bike trip with bike tours.com and we loved them both. I enjoyed the smaller group on the Ave Maria, and the crew was fabulous. The best way to experience a new country is on a bike traveling through the countryside. And biketours.com makes everything easy.

Great time on the Danube
Danube Delights: Cycling and Cruising in the Footsteps of Royalty
We had a wonderful time in Austria, and sailing down the Danube on the Swiss Crown. There were some many beautiful sites to see when walking or riding a bike through the different cities. The Swiss Crown is a beautiful ship, with a great staff.

Best Crew ever
Venice to Mantova by Bike and Boat (and reverse)
What a wonderful surprise this tour was! The crew were fantastic and made everyone feel welcome and they took care of any of passengers’ needs right away. The rooms, while a little small, met our needs and the shower was large enough and maintained excellent water pressure and temperature without any fluctuations. The meals exceeded everyone’s expectations with fresh ingredients delivered every day. Our chefs Alberto and Sylvia simply hit a home run with each and every meal. Our guides Sylvia (yes two Sylvias) and Marco were so much fun and you could tell that they really enjoyed leading our group. I really can’t say enough about this 7 person crew, they all worked together performing what ever tasks were required with dedication and smiles. The president and vice president of the tour company joined us for dinner one evening which affirmed their commitment to providing a great product for the passengers.
This is not a challenging bike tour so just don’t expect it to be, however we had one of the 30 mile days with some pretty strong headwinds. It should also be noted that Venice to Mantua is against the river flow so you will be climbing slightly the whole way. Some of the dirt roads need to be graded as we had to dodge numerous pot holes and there many shared roads with rude drivers but our guides did a great job keeping us safe. The ride in Mantua was by far the nicest on a dedicated bike path!- What was the date of your tour?

Over our expectations
South Dalmatia Bike/E-bike and Boat
This was our first visit in Croatia, and this bike - boat tour really showed us the beauty of the Croation islands. We stayed 7 days at MY Melody, which was a real luxury yacht with big cabins, sundeck, very good staff, and the ship was also very clean.
Cycling routes were quit hard, because they started every day at the same way, right away to the uphill without any warm up. Cycling routes were in a very good condition and there were not much traffic. After the daily ride, they all finished in a long serpentine back to the port. Very nice cycling.
The atmosphere in the villages on the islands is pleasant, we liked it very much.
And last but not least, our very international group was superb, very much joy and laugh every day and all the time.
I think that we seriously consider that in the future we take apart to some other bike boat tour in Croatia, I hope so.

First time to Europe by way of Bike tours
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Magnifique III (and reverse)
Our first trip to Belgium, Holland and the city of Amsterdam. What an amazing way to travel. Each day was filled so many local and historical sites and information through our lovely tour guides. It was structured and accommodating for all abilities of riders. The boat was immaculate and the staff worked hard to greet us in the morning and back after our daily rides.

Bruges – Amsterdam by Bike and Boat
Very enjoyable tour. Excellent crew. Excellent food. Excellent company. It is a good mixture of bike & barge travel. The cycling is gentle and Holland is flat. It is good to have a guide as it is impossible to get lost. Cycle routes in Belgium & Holland are very well organised, safe with minimum traffic and great scenery. Would recommend it. Note cabins are small.

Danube Capitals Bike & Boat Tour
We enjoyed every minute on and off the boat! Great covering of sites on the Danube! The meals was excellent, our compliments to the chef! The staff on board was very friendly and efficient, especially in the rooms and in the dining room! The Swiss Crown totally fulfilled our needs except for the insufficient wifi!
The explanation of routes could improve, as well as the provided app, that kept disappearing. The maps in the book was not well displayed, which made it difficult to follow while cycling along. I suggest a bigger sized booklet or a daily map!- What was the date of your tour?

The crew on the Zwaan were amazing! Captain Reinold was gracious and did an excellent job at navigating the boat through the locks and moorings. Sabine the assistant did an amazing job at making us comfortable on the boat. How she managed to do many jobs with ease was a skill to admire. Theo the chef introduced us to many dishes from around the world that were delicious . Piet the bike guide showed us many different sites and managed to keep us together as a group even though we had various abilities. So grateful we had pleasure of pedaling and sharing meals with the other guests! They each brought something unique to the table. This trip was an amazing adventure that we will remember and share with family and friends. Thank you for an awesome adventure!!

Wonderful experience
Pearls of Dalmatia by Bike and Boat, Romantica
The guides were wonderful! The rides challenging. I rode a regular bike, my wife an e-bike. We were both pleasantly challenged. Only an in shape experienced cyclist should try a regular bike. Elevation gain over distance is considerable. Beautiful views, nice villages.
We had below deck rooms. I don’t recommend them. At one point the sewage backed up into our toilet and the smell was awful. They repaired it in several hours.
The reason given was: it’s an old boat and the seals are not good. There is a new owner who needs to fix this!
Meals were plentiful. Breakfasts very good. Dinners were simple and adequate. Lots of grilled or fried fish and meat.- What was the date of your tour?

Mosel Wine and Cake
Mosel & Saar by Bike & Boat
The staff on the boat spoke English and most, including our guide were completely fluent. Language was not an issue. The food was varied and healthy, although favorite part of the services onboard was tea and cake at 3pm. Although they were comfortable to sit on, the bicycles were quite heavy. Not a big deal on the flat route we were biking, but they did require more effort to pedal than I would have preferred.

Way ahead of expectations!
Greek Island Adventure by Bike and Sail
Our boat was beautiful and very comfortable with lots of gathering spaces, excellent food, friendly staff and guides. Our daily rides were well explained and designed with consideration of the groups abilities and interests.
All in all though it was the people taking care of us that made the difference. Each one appeared to be looking for ways to help or support our experience.
