Croatia Biking and boating
South Dalmatia Bike/E-bike and Boat
Croatia is beautiful and can be challenging for biking. Ebikes made this challenge achievable. Boat was beautiful and comfortable. Food was excellent. Crew and staff were just great - friendly and capable. Guides were energetic and very knowledgeable. Great way to see Croatia. Only complaint was be unable to use credit card for drinks on board. Made calculating cash (and then converting to euros) much harder. Can't see why they don't accept credit cards for that.

Wonderful Experience
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Magnifique IV (and reverse)
My wife and I had a wonderful experience on this bike tour of Belgium and Netherlands. The barge itself was very nice, and the crew and guides were even better. Every night the chef exceeded our expectations with a great dinner. The best part were the friendships and fun we had with the other folks on the tour.

Very well organized and planned
Amsterdam – Gouda – Bruges by Bike and Boat
It was very well organized and people on the boat and in the group were really super nice. Each day was a feast at night, and a treat to the eyes when it comes to biking. We went through a lot of pretty open fields, historic sights and picturesque landscapes. It was like riding through a wallpaper. It was quite easy to finish it, given the flat terrain, and was not a really hard tour.

Tulip and Windmill Barge Tour
Holland’s Southern Relax Tulip Tour
This was my third bike trip with Bike Tours.Com., but my first guided tour. Sietse, was an excellent guide, who kept us on a schedule but allowed us time to see things, gave us adequate coffee and lunch breaks. He always told us much information about each place as well as a voluntary walk at night in each town that we docked at, one does not get that on an unguided tour. Our chef, Nicole, was excellent, who I appreciated being on a gluten-free diet. The meals were healthy as well as delicious. The biking trip had very good trails with lots of canals and wildlife as well as windmills and of course the beautiful tulips, tulips, and tulips!

Beyond high expectations !
Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
We've taken several boat and bike trips as we LUV floating hotels and active vacations, usually on smaller boats than the Vivienne, my concerns for number of guests were not necessary. The flexibility of schedule, ability to do self guided bike routes, and fellow guests were quite fun. The cabin, typical of boats, small with very good storage for clothes and accessories and stashing away luggage. Wifi was good throughout the trip. The meals were great and plentiful. We signed up for every 'optional' excursion and had the best guided experiences learning more about each capital visited. The Danube and Central Europe are not to be missed, rich with history and quiet roads to explore on two wheels. The crew gets a 10+, informative, attentive and friendly. Even with a ride in the rain this trip was 'over the top' in my memory. Evening theme parties, costumes provided on board - not to be missed.

The perfect way to explore the Greek islands!
The instructor Alex was excellent with the great knowledge of e bikes and the routes troughs the amazing sceneries of the Greece islands.

Terrific Tulip Trip
Holland’s Super Tulip Tour
We had 15 cyclists, a crew of 4 and the best experience. While Holland is flat, making the actual cycling fairly easy, the number of cyclists on the road presented a learning curve for many of us. But our guide, Niels, taught us about the rules of the road and we all biked safely. While I signed up for this because I wanted to see the tulips, it was much more. Riding through nature reserves, having our picnic lunch at the beach on the North Sea and more. Our crew was fantastic - personable and efficient. The meals were delicious. We packed picnic lunches each morning, enabling a more relaxed and flexible lunch break. Our original route was changed in order to avoid Keukenhof Gardens on a Sunday. Any alterations to the route only improved the ride. It was a great group to ride with and a great overall experience.

Great Adventure
Bordeaux by Bike and Boat: Castets-en-Dorthe to Libourne (and reverse)
Had a great time riding through the Bordeaux wine country. E-Bike made it easy (I'm 74) and the French countryside was beautiful. Our bike guide was awesome and very knowledgeable about wine and the local history. Food was great and the room was comfortable. Very enjoyable week!

Excellent trip and better than expected!
South Dalmatia Bike/E-bike and Boat
We had a wonderful time on our visit to the Croatian Islands. The biking was wonderful and gave us a good overview of the islands with beautiful views. The islands were better than we anticipated and absolutely beautiful. The accommodations were comfortable and the boat was well maintained. The crew on the boat was exceptional, and the chef was very accommodating to the four vegans on board. He created special meals for us that were consistent with the theme, but we’re also meeting our needs and absolutely delicious. We cannot say enough about our guides, Luka and Luka. What a delightful pair of young men. Very attentive during the rides and their classes on how to speak Croatian were hysterical. They were able to add in special sights and stops that were most appreciated. Also their sing-along on our final night. - what a fun time and great way to end the trip!

Fantastic Holiday

I had a great time. Tour guides, Chryssa and Katerina we knowledgable, helpful and lovely. The crew were very accommodating and helpful. The food was great. I loved swimming straight of the boat into that lovely water. I would definitely recommend. The rides are short as advertised, but unless you are very good at steep hills, get an ebike.

A very special experience
National Parks of Dalmatia by Bike/E-bike and Boat
This was one of the last tours offered for 2018 and Bike Tours acted quickly to get us signed up, and responded immediately to several questions we had. As for the tour company, we could not have been more pleased--the guides were excellent, the boat staff worked hard and were always helpful. And, the beauty of the coastline is exceptional.

Great multi-generational family trip
Mosel & Saar by Bike & Boat
This trip was such a great experience, especially with the availability of e-bikes, I would recommend it for just about anyone. The food aboard exceeded my expectations every day. It was self-guided, and the provided daily briefings and maps were completely sufficient for us to find our way. We did it with an age range of 9 years to 73 years, and everyone was successful. Bikes are not high-end, but they worked. We had some trouble with seat and handlebar adjustments for the shorter members of our group, but it all worked out in the end. The crew of the Patria was exceptional. They were professional, helpful, and provided excellent service throughout. It was particularly nice that passengers were allowed to stay aboard during the day if they needed a rest day or didn't want to deal with biking on a day of solid rain. Terrific first-time bike tour experience.
